MERAPU 1 : SMS rider ,Bila saya kata kamu bodoh, kamu marah..

Assalamualaikum.

Kali ni entri merapu, tapi insyaAllah ada sikit faedahnya. Kalau asyik wat entri skema ja hilang pulak kemanisan hidup. =p

Sebelum itu, ingin ditegaskan bahawa gambar di bwah tiada kena mengena dengan kamu, tujuan aku lukis moto LC sbb budak2 skang tau moto LC ja, kalau moto honda petak atau honda bulat, ada gak akan keliru sama ada kenderaan tu jenis motosikal atau basikal. Trend kolar terangkat mmg terkenal sejak ramai yg malas nk cuci daki di leher.

Pernahkah kita melihat gelagat seperti mamat di bawah ini???? Inilah dia golongan penunggang motosikal yang expert, berkaliber, bertanggungjawab, amanah, menepati masa dan taat sehingga berSMS ketika menunggang motosikal.

Ada kaitan ka dengan kehidupan aku untuk ulas perilaku penunggang yang begini?? Kita sedia maklum bahawa menggunakan telefon bimbit(boowat kawling yewr) ketika memandu/menunggang adalah menjadi kesalahan. Apakejadahnya pula menaip SMS ketika riding inikan pula ketika wili(angkat tayar depan) atau wikang(angkat tayar belakang). Tambahan pula kepada pengguna iPhone 4 , taip SMS dua tangan baru ada feeling rasa masyuk syahdu. So kalau tngah bawa motor?? tangan dua2 main SMS, kaki kanan pulas minyak, kaki kiri tekan gear,break x payah tawakkal ja.

Benda nih xda la masalah besar kalau korang bawa moto dalam hutan sambil SMS, masalahnya bila korang atas jalan raya, mata tngok SMS, xpandang depan, bawa pelan nak mampuih gelong kiri dan kanan. Sampai ada kes menyebabkan keCELAKAan jalan raya. Please jngn heret orang lain ke dalam kebodohan kamu. Nak main SMS bhenti tepi jalan, xkan la GF xleh tunggu sat kot~ penting sngt ka? Serius aku cakap aku meluat tngok budak2 bawa moto main SMS, aku xtau la ada orang happy plak tngok benda cmtu?? Anda happy??? jangan biarkan hidup anda diselubungi kebod......an. =)

ELECTRIC + MAGNETIC = ELECTROMAGNETIC *PART 2

Lets continue with the previous EM Part 1 posted. As we already understand a very simple basic of electricity energy and current path, now it will lead us to magnetic part. As a conductor(previously green path) carrying a current flow through it will produce a magnetic field around it. A moving charge or electron will induce a magnetic field around it and vice versa. So that how magnetic field induced, as long as we have electron moving, there will be magnetic field induced around it path. So what can be used with magnetic field? Even kids know that magnet have abilities creating a push-pull forces depend on the poles orientation. We have north-south pole for magnet, ask you little-brother to solve it for you.

We are using this forces to create torque for electrical motor. To talk about how we can design an electric motor really take a lot of effort as we need to think and design carefully(base on my own experience building homemade dc motor) to manipulate this forces. If you want more detail, you can read about Lorentz force. This part required a basic vector analysis and lots of equation. I will not go deep about this, it is a waste if we will not cover the basic very well. This article only for simple knowledge sharing. Enjoy Part 3 in progress.

ELECTRIC + MAGNETIC = ELECTROMAGNETIC *PART 1

Hi everybody, since I've got a request from a friend, so I would like to share with you a basic understanding of electric and magnetic. Hope with the simple example,people who are not involve in electric engineering will also understand how everything works. I'll try my best to make you understand it in the way of story rather than plain note or theory.All the diagram I draw here are free to shared.

Electric energy, I don't want to give the same defination like what you can find in wikipedia, This is what it look like from my understanding: CLICK TO ENLARGE IMAGE

That is the most basic part, I will try not to include any equation as the equation will mess out every simple thing. If you take an AAA batery, connect the +ve and -ve pole with a wire, you will get the diagram of green path above. The electron will flow from -ve pole to the positive while the current are opposite of that. For a long time of connection, the battery will become hot as it continuous release the electron through the wire as short-circuit loop.

At the end of the battery life, the potential of the battery usually 1.5V become only less than 0.5V. At this point,we said that the potential is going to be a ground level 0V or equalibrium pressure for spray can.Example above show the actual electricity application.Red arrow is the direction of current flow( +ve holes transition). Electron are moving through a thin filament which heated up and the energy of it are emitted as visible light photon. This is how light bulb operating. I don't want to put it more detail, as any question we can discussed it in comment below. If you found anything wrong inside this article, let me know as I can change it to be better and reliable. Hello~

Feel really empty when not using my head to do something new. It was a lot of interview offered after I signed my working contract with ViE. The first job I rejected was Intel Penang~ the salary offered with bonus was really interesting,however the job scope not really suit with me. Why?? I'm thinking about... what will I do everyday to get paid. Is it something I like?? I'm really hope that my JOB is also my HOBBY. Then the life will be easier (^^)V.

I keep thinking, how many years I will be in electronic arena?? Is it the salary increment will be enough as my experience increase?? Then, the positive ideas come.....everything in the world really need electronic control to work in very high speed, most of the gadget today need electronic circuitry. Lots of mechanical control system was replace by electronic controller.

If I can be the one who really expert in electronic,then I can create my own electronic company. Fuhh~ too deep fantasy but this is what I'm saying during interview session. "If you are good enough, the company will help you to make it real". This was the response I've got from ViTrox founder, 39 years old already kaya-raya(rich)! How?? Hopefully I'm on the same path with him.

I'm really nervous waiting to be in ViTrox, what they said,the work load was quite high~I already pass 3 stages of interview, need to complete another 3-6 months probation period before job comfirmation. how wonderful, hard and fantastic experience should I face.hehehe. We will see this 15 June..the most important is, sea(laut) is infront of the office.yehuu~

They are just another robots...

I'm really fanatic about robotic. Since I was in secondary school, I've trying to modified all my toys to functioning as what I want. It is start with a remote control car. The RC transmitter inside it give a lot of fun. I keep hacking the circuit and mount it on the handmade boat, firecracker rocket launcher, an even a homemade aeroplane(sure that will not flying until the end,hehehe).

Sometimes, it seem really a waste of time when I keep hacking the toys without any knowledge. Some of friends said to me, "you are wasting your time,better you go and study for your SPM". It really hurt to hear that.But for me, if everyone are the same as everyone, then what are the unique identities do we have?

When somebody critics you badly, then talk to yourself, "At least I can do something rather than you(that somebody) keep talking and have less output than me..". That was nothing to do with too much achievement, what do we care is about how much effort do we give to achieve something. If we think too much about people opinions, then we are not going anywhere. (^^)

UM EE 06/07 summary.

Just to share with you about my 4 years as a University of Malaya Electrical Engineering student. Now I'm just waiting for my last presentation in UM for my precious thesis project.

During matriculation, my best Chinese friend told me that I need to get 4.00 to enter UM EE, and UM EE is really though. But I still choose that because of my interest.

July 06 - My first step in um (5th colleague), I'm coming to UM with zero idea but I know that I'm taking Electrical Engineering. You know what, for the second times I feel quite afraid facing the best students selected from matriculation, PASUM and STPM.


2007/2008 - I've got a serious business with Abd.Halim in starting an independent electronic project before we totally involve in fully hardware project which is constructing electric dc-motor from waste material. That was the first to initiate Vortex Electrica.

2008/2009 - More advance electronic exploration done in microcontroller with a new partner joining Vortex Electrica. Fakhruddin was the one who responsible for programming part when we was preparing our beloved robot 'avoidroid' for maze robot competition.

2009/2010 - This is the most compact time for me when I'm joining 2 technology exhibitions, UM FESENI acoustic, 2 live acoustic and 1 full-band performance as guitarist, my thesis project and 4 subjects for examination. ^^ I don't know what to say, but from that I've already sacrifice the 4 subjects which I considered the worst examination in the whole 4 years. =p

To all EE friend who read this article : you should know that we are the best in Malaysia. Even we got a lower pointer compare to the others, the company know who is the best. You are the selected peoples to be here as UM EE. I'm really proud to have all of you because the way you thinking are totally critical then the others. Thank you for giving me the pro-active environment, hopefully the friendship that we build in this 4 years remains forever.

1st R&D job offerred.

Assalamualaikum,

After 2 weeks struggle and having less than 20 hours journey from KL to Penang back to KL,now the result is came out. Vitrox is a local-multinational company which compete in international level for Machine Vision Solution. The company operate fully on R&D with having it own production department. Some of the production process was sub-project to the other company.

I'm going for 3 stages of Vitrox interview, 1st at UM career fair and the rest at Penang. The actual related interview was the one that held in Penang, however the 1st interview has open the oppurtunity working with Vitrox. Today I've got a call from Vitrox that they want to hire me as a New Product Development Engineer (R&D) ,InsyaAllah.

This is the job that I want most. The job scope is so beautiful so that I can applied all electronic knowledge that I've learned in UM. Thank You Allah s.w.t for helping me. I don't want to go any interview after this~~~

I want to share something that really important :

I heard some peoples talk about "You will never apply what you have learned in university".

"What are you so worried about?when a company hired you,they will provide you a training,you

will learn everything from A to Z".

Don't ever trust this quotation! What do you think if in an interview, they ask you about theory?

then ask you about practical? hands-on? You got very big problem if you don't even know either

resistor have polarity or not after 4 years of study. I have to talk more than 1 hour about my "own

project" and not about any assigment in my interview.Don't ever think company will simply give

you a training with your zero head.

Please never talk something like that to your juniors. We should ask them to do better than us

not less. Really emotional. =p

Sound of guitar without modification.

This is actual sound of my guitar recorded using webcam microphone (everything is cheap). My aim is to change the sound of clean mode. I'm using Audacity free software to merge 3 layers of recording and for me,Audacity has flexibility in adding effect and altering the waveform. This is the link to get Audacity.

Electric guitar pick-up modification.(magnetic pickups) Part 1.

Hi everybody, this time I would like to share with you the ideas of electric guitar pickups. This is for those who are using a cheap electric guitar like mine. For those who are using RM1k++ guitar just read it as knowledge. I'm read an article from a website which give more engineering idea of the actual principle of pickups function. Don't waste your time read the website if you are not from electrical background. You will only understand less than 40% from overall article.Here I would share with you the summary I made:

From the figure above, you can see the cylindrical permanent magnet wounded with coil. The magnetic flux is line representation of magnetic field as you see in the kindergarten.At least you know about science if you are not taking physics. Viewing from top,this is the dot under single guitar string on your pickups(pickups without metal casing). Magnetic guitar pickups only function with steel string as the string can give an effect to the magnetic flux. For nylon string, it is functioning with piezoelectric type pickups.

As steel string vibrating above the circle surface of the cylinder, it will cut the magnetic flux B. According to Faraday's law of induction, there are induction of voltage e(t) as magnetic field is changing by the effect of string cutting the flux. Vibration of string will induce a frequency of alternate voltage and current.As simpler explanation, this alternate pickups voltage is feed to the amplifier to change it back with louder amplify decibel sound!!


This is the internal circuitry of my guitar,very simple for cheap guitar..As the pickups used are humbucker (noise canceling effect by precise manufacturing identical pickups in series),I can verify the operation of element label in the figure. Output voltage of most pickup are 100mv-1V rms of maximum of 1.414V peak voltage and pickups sound are based on transfer function of overall system including cable, filter, and pickups. For the next post, we will start to eliminate the effect of guitar cable from cheap guitar. All the experiment done by using my own guitar. Cheers if my guitar broken first!! yeah.

MakeOver with photoshop !! AVATAR

Yesterday I've got photoshop cs3 software operate in my laptop, hehehe, I've found
tutorial from youtube doing photoshop to create your own avatar face !! quite interesting,here I want to share with you the job I've done.


The left picture is the original picture loaded into CS3 photoshop. File>Open>your picture.
For AVATAR character, obviously the eyes and the nose are bigger compare to a normal human.
To perform this, click Filter>liquify... from there, used Forward Warp,Pucker,Bloat tools to modify the face,result is the middle image.It seem really ugly..hahaha. Remove your cornea using brush tool with white color.

To have a blue skin color, goto Image>Adjustments>Hue & Saturation.. overall color effected from variation of Hue and Saturation, get the perfect match by doing some experiment,on the border of the eyelids, use Smudge tool to make a smoother look between the line.
To have such beautiful cornea, 'google' it and save into your computer. Then, File>Open>corneapic... in the same CS3 windows. Select the cornea using Elliptical Marquee tool then click copy, paste it on your faces. Resize the cornea until it suit to your eye..erase the extra cornea on your eyelids using erasers tool. Do the same thing to the other cornea.Now you have 3 layers picture,merge them all.

Makeup your Avatar using normal brush with suitable colour, adjust your color opacity and brush size to the suitable one, from brush toolbar.Merge all layers, add Lens Flare to your face from Filter>Render>Lens Flare... , do correction to make your Avatar look more realistic, finally , add Filter>Render>Lightning Effects to have extra stylo light effect..hahaaaha. Image>Adjustments>Brightness & Contras become your final conclusion. Add more effect like from Filter Gallery. So easy to write and talk, you must try it..^^

AKU MENCURI KETIKA .......??

Post bahasa melayu pulak untuk keselesaan aku menulis dan membaca,akan tetapi jika ada permintaan untuk mengalih bahasa,insyaAllah akan diusahakan.hehehe.macam ramai ja dok baca ;p .

Masa aku kecil, seringkali kehendak aku mahu dipenuhi. “nak permainan nih”, “nak permainan tu”, “nak makan kfc”, “nak duit lebih”, “nak bergaya” dan yang paling menyedihkan apabila kadang-kadang ada perasaan malu keluarga aku ada kekurangan.”malu sebab kereta tidak sehebat kereta kawan…”.Dengan akal yang singkat, rasanya perasaan itu boleh dimaafkan..tetapi semakin dewasa, aku tengok sendiri bagaimana nilai sehelai duit seringgit itu dibandingkan dengan penat lelah yang dilaburkan...pernah sekali,hari Jumaat masa aku darjah 5,ada pasar tani depan rumah aku, mama letak RM10 atas meja.

Masa tu minat terhadap komik terlalu dasyat. Disebabkan aku tiada duit, aku curi duit itu dan beli komik. Kononnya nak selamat,aku beli 2 komik,satu untuk adik aku, bila mama nak membeli sayur dan ikan, mula la sesi mencari duit yang hilang tadi,padahal aku yang kebas, Yang aku hairan, tiba-tiba otak aku jadi sebijak Michael Scofield. Balance duit yang aku curi tu, aku letakkan di lokasi yang tersembunyi berasingan, so,aku pun berlakon bersama-sama mencari duit RM10 yang hilang tu. Aku pergi cari di lokasi balance duit yang aku sembunyikan. 3-4 kali aku kononnya terjumpa duit dalam rumah.cari 1-2 minit jumpa RM2,cari lagi jumpa RM 1.50, cari lagi jumpa RM3.

Nampak macam aku terkantoi di situ disebabkan asyik aku ja jumpa duit. Parent tanya balik,”sapa ambik duit untuk beli ikan tu”?.semua diam,padahal aku yang curi…akhirnya mama kata,tak perlu masak makan sebab duit dah tiada..masa tu la otak aku rasa bersalah sangat-sangat dan tidak boleh handle lagi. Akhirnya aku mengaku jugak secara diam dekat mama..bila ayah dengar,terus dia minta semua komik tu ,nak bawa jual balik dekat pasar yang aku beli tu.aku kena ikut sekali,bila pergi kat gerai komik di pasar, mamak jual komik tu tidak mahu beli balik komik yang dah dijual..ayah suruh aku baca komik tu. Adik aku pun kena jugak,padahal aku yang kepala.mulai ja hari tu, aku tak berani mencuri sebab teruk bila fikir susah payah orang cari duit. Bijak untuk berbuat perkara jahat tidak kemana kerana apabila sampai masa akan dibalas juga.
